NEWS UPDATES

10/04/08-34 Raceway-SIA

Transferring through the 1st of 2 B-mains, resulted in a 21st starting spot for the A-main event. After sliding off the track between turns 1 & 2 a few laps into the race, the #65 Goldesberry Motorsports Eagle Chassis charged from the tail end of the field up to a solid 10th place finish despite ongoing brake troubles for the second night in a row. This is the final race for the regular season, we would like to thank the Sprint Invaders Association for a great year.

10/03/08-Morgan County Speedway-SIA

After a 10th place starting spot, Jordan moved forward to the 6th spot, but lost his brakes midway through the race resulting in the #65 Redline Oil, NGK Spark Plugs, K&N Filters, Ultrashield, Mothers Wax, Goodridge Fittings, Modern Paving & Scrap Eagle Chassis sliding back to a disappointing 12th place finish.

9/28/08-Spoon River Speedway-SIA

The #65 Goldesberry Motorsports team dominated the night, starting 4th in the heat and finishing 1st, starting 2nd in the dash and finishing 1st. Jordan started 1st in the feature by luck of the draw, and fell back to 3rd, but by lap 13, he was back to 1st and remained 1st to the finish. In Jordan's words, “It means a lot, it’s been a lot of hard work,” he says of his first triumph. “It took us two years to get the first one…I hope we can get the second one a lot quicker." Looking at only 2 more races in the regular season, we would like to thank all of our sponsors for their support.

9/25/08-PRESS RELEASE

The #65 Goldesberry Motorsports team would like to thank MODERN PAVING & SCRAP of Springfield, IL for coming on board with sponsorship for the remainder of the 2008 race season. We are negotiating sponsorship for the 2009 season as well.

9/21/08-Quincy Raceway-MASS

Due to engine troubles with our 410 the last time out, we took our 360 Don Ott Eagle chassis to Quincy Raceway. After starting the heat race in 2nd place, Jordan was able to pull away from all other cars until the caution flag waved, and ended up 3rd. Jordan moved the Don Ott powered 360 Eagle Chassis to a 9th place finish after starting 12th in the feature. The #65 Goldesberry Motorsports team was the highest finishing 360.

9/20/08-Quad City Speedway-SIA

The finish of this race doesn't really show the real picture. The #65 Goldesberry Motorsports 360 Eagle Chassis started 8th after finishing 3rd in his heat race. After multiple attempts at getting this race started, they finally succeeded and by lap 12, Jordan had moved forward to the 5th spot. For the remaining of 12 more laps, he was pushing farther forward. On the last lap, 2 of the front running cars got into each other resulting in a spin on the back stretch. One of the cars involved collected Jordan, resulting in a 10th place finish.

9/19/08-Morgan County Speedway

In our first 410 outing at Jacksonville we had a solid finish starting 11th and finishing 9th, despite having engine troubles.

9/19/08

The remainder of the racing season appears to be shaping up nicely with 3 nights of racing this weekend to include both the 360 Don Ott Eagle Chassis and the 410 Don Ott Maxim Chassis for the #65 Goldesberry Motorsports team after a very wet last 2 weekends in the midwest. The remaining schedule includes 6 nights of racing in the next 3 weekends.

8/31/08-Lake Ozark Speedway

Due to a part failure on Saturday, Jordan did not make it out of the B-Main. On Sunday, Jordan finished 2nd in his heat race, putting him in the 11th starting place for the A-Main. With a stacked field, Jordan was able to stay in the 11th place until a few laps to go, then his car started to go away, resulting in a 13th place finish. This is the final race this year at Lake Ozark Speedway, and we have enjoyed racing at this facility. The #65 Redline Oil, NGK Spark Plugs, K&N Filters, Ultrashield, Mothers Wax, Goodridge Fittings, Eagle Chassis will head to Quincy Raceway for a Sprint Invaders show on Sept 7.

8/23/08-Lake Ozark Speedway

Due to a bad pill draw, Jordan wound in the B-Main and won this race. This resulted in a 16th place start for the A-Main, in 7 laps he had moved forward to 8th place, but spun out trying to get another position. He restarted the race on the tail in 20th position, putting his car on the high side, moved forward to finish in 7th place AGAIN. The #65 Goldesberry Motorsports team will head back to Lake Ozark for the 360 Nationals on Aug 30 & 31.
